to send a message, put it in a bottle or send Western Union..." That was the advice given to me by Mort Zarkoff - one of my professors at USC's School of Cinema Television. His point was to never forget the first order of business is to entertain - to keep your audience enthralled. Here I am, some 20 years later, and I still want to tell stories that send viewers the message to follow their own dreams.
